According to the tribe’s own oral history, the stussy tribe orginated from Laguna (Lagonas) Beach, California in 1980.In the early 1980s, They mainly inhabited around Laguna Beach. As the range of their marine activites was getting bigger, They began to migrate all over the United States,eventually to New York. The stussy territory reached its most dominant size in the 20th when they were spread into most of the U.S and adjacent lands from Australia and Japan in the late 1980s.
Since then, in 1996 - With their exceedingly expanding scope of activities, they became an international tribe from a local tribe. And they are now called “Stussy inc”.
